Peaches Duon, APRN FNP-BC
After a successful career in nursing, Peaches transitioned her commitment to patients with pain and mental health disorders into an advanced degree as a Nurse Practitioner. She passionately collaborates with her patients to heal pain, whether it’s emotional or physical, from the inside out. Empathy, quality time spent with each patient, and making her patients a significant part of their own treatment plan is what you can expect when you are in her care.
Her advanced degree allows her a wide array of treatment options. It all starts with understanding her patients mental and emotional needs and how they are impacting symptoms such as pain, fatigue, or other physical ailments. Her conservative approach to healing the mental and emotional wellness first limits the use of unnecessary narcotics or other drugs that mask underlying conditions. Patients learn how to manage pain and other ailments as a primary line of treatment.
Patients who get to see Peaches for their care receive the benefits of a broad interdisciplinary medical plan. Her primary specialty include cervical spine care, resulting in relief from lower back, neck, shoulder, and leg pain. She augments that care with Chiropractic care, medical massage, trigger point treatments (including injections), and proper medication management.
